Spring into Action: 5 Tips for Renewal and Rejuvenation

Posted by Leesa Boone on

Hey there, fellow creators and believers!

As the birds chirp and the flowers bloom, it's that time of year again — spring is upon us! The whole world's getting a fresh coat of paint. And you know what that means? It's time for some serious resetting, renewing, and rejuvenating not just in our gardens but in our own lives. Just like the earth around us undergoes a transformation, why not let this season be a time for our own growth and renewal?

Don't wait until the end of the year to access your life. I know the year just started but it is already flying by! We are in the end of the first quarter, can you believe it? So let's march into action...

You will find this theme of resetting, renewal and rejuvenation in our podcast and in my business during the month of March. My word for 2024 was to be intentional - intentional about you, about me, my family, my business, my relationships, and most importantly my right standing with The Father. Everything I do and everything I am is about Him.

I want to do better. I want to work better. I want to serve better. These are the things that I am telling myself, and maybe you need to hear it also...let's go!

So, grab your paintbrushes, dust off those crafting supplies, and let's dive into five quick tips to set ourselves up for success this spring:

1. Clear Out the Clutter: Just like we declutter our minds and hearts, let's start by decluttering our creative spaces. Out with the old, in with the new! As it says in Proverbs 3:6, "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." So let's make some room for fresh inspiration and creativity to flow.

2. Set Intentions, Not Just Goals: Goals are great, but intentions go deeper. Take a moment to reflect on what you truly want to achieve this season, not just in your career, but also in your personal and spiritual life. As Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." Let's align our intentions with our faith and watch miracles unfold.

3. Embrace Imperfection: Remember, creativity is messy, and that's okay! Don't let perfectionism hold you back. Ecclesiastes 11:4 tells us, "Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap." So let's embrace the imperfections, knowing that God can turn our messes into masterpieces. We cannot wait for the perfect time to do something - there is nothing and nobody who is perfect, but The Father. So go for it and pivot as needed!

4. Connect with Nature: Step outside, breathe in the fresh air, (BREATHE DEEP BREATHES of fresh air) and soak up the beauty of God's creation. Nature has a way of rejuvenating our spirits and sparking new ideas. As Psalm 19:1 declares, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Let's draw inspiration from the world around us.

5. Practice Gratitude: Finally, let's cultivate an attitude of gratitude. Take a moment each day to count your blessings and express gratitude for the gift of creativity. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." Gratitude opens the door to abundance and joy.

So there you have it, friends — five tips to kickstart your spring with renewed energy and enthusiasm. Let's reset, renew, and rejuvenate together, knowing that with God's grace, anything is possible.

Until next time, keep creating, keep believing, and keep shining your light!
